The official competitive circuit of Pokémon MMO 3D. Every Edition, the Pallet Town, Viridian City and Pewter City Divisions each crown their own Champion, who defends the title at the next Edition.

Each Division is a tournament of its own, with up to 16 trainers and its own Champion. To keep the title, a Champion must register again for the next Edition and defend it in the Grand Final.

One Shiny Pokémon, to choose among:

  • 🎲A Shiny Starter of your choice, from a randomly drawn Generation
  • RaltsShiny Ralts
  • SnoruntShiny Snorunt

Every Shiny reward has at least 20 IVs and a random Nature, drawn from all Natures except one favorable and one unfavorable for that Pokémon. The Champion also picks one of 3 sizes.

Rewards are handed out by the Organization after the Grand Final, usually within two days, and cannot be transferred to another player.

The Shiny is only a bonus. The real goal is to have fun, enjoy the competition and create a great community event together. Good luck to all trainers!

Rules at a glance

Summary of the Official Rulebook of the PMMO3D Championship Series. The English Rulebook published by the Organization is the only official version and prevails in case of doubt.

The Organization is making a few small changes to the Rulebook for the Viridian City Division. This summary will be updated as soon as the new version is published.

🏟️ Format

  • Three Divisions per Edition, with up to 16 trainers each. A player can take part only once per Edition.
  • Single elimination on a randomly drawn bracket. Every match is a Best of One (BO1) and there is no third-place match.
  • When a title is vacant, the winner of the final becomes Champion. Otherwise the winner becomes the Challenger and faces the Champion in the Grand Final.

🎒 Team

  • 6 Pokémon registered in advance (ID, species, level, IV sum), locked for the whole Edition.
  • Before each match, secretly choose 3 of them. Only those three may be in your team, and you can change your three between matches.
  • One Pokémon per species, at most one Legendary, level 105 maximum.
  • Switching Pokémon during a battle is not allowed, and Fly may only be used to move on the ground. A Pokémon that is invalid or no longer owned cannot be replaced.

⏱️ Match

  • The Organization counts down “3, 2, 1, GO!” and on GO both players immediately throw their Poké Ball straight up.
  • Knock out your opponent's 3 Pokémon to win. After a KO, the player who scored it returns to their starting position while the opponent sends out their next Pokémon.
  • If the time limit set by the Organization runs out, the player with the most Pokémon still standing wins.
  • You get 5 minutes of grace for your first match and 3 minutes for the next ones. After that, you lose by walkover. Players have 2 minutes to get ready between matches.
  • If you disconnect, you have 3 minutes to come back and the match resumes where it stopped. A second disconnection means a match loss.

🤝 Fair play

  • Every match is supervised and recorded. Contest a decision right after the match in the game chat, because private messages on Discord are not accepted.
  • Report any bug at once, since knowingly exploiting one counts as cheating. Spectators must not interfere with matches.
  • Penalties range from a warning to permanent exclusion. The Organization's decisions are final.
