Fragment Events
Fragment Events are events that trigger once a K.O. threshold has been met. The event will only apply to the specific map and channel that the condition was met. Fragment events last for 1 hour.
Current threshold:
5,000 Wild Pokémon K.O.'d on any map = Fragment Event triggeredYou can see fragment progress in the top right corner of the UI (moonstone icon)Once triggered, an announcement will be posted both in-game and to the main Discord server. It will also announce once it has finished.
Fragment Event Types
The percentages represent the chance of that being the selected fragment. The choice is randomised with these weighted values and cannot be changed.
| Event | Chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Mythical Pokemon x2 | 18% | Mythical Pokémon such as Mew & Celebi will have an increased chance of spawning by 2. The condition for deciding if it's Mew or Celebi is decided by the map — Celebi is only active on event maps. |
| EV Gain x2 | 18% | Your EVs gained by fainting wild Pokémon or playing the Mini-game will be doubled while this event is active. |
| Happiness Gain x2 | 18% | Happiness gain will be doubled while this event is active. |
| Easy Random Size | 18% | The size distribution will be altered for all new spawns after the event activates, making rare sizes more accessible. |
| Min IVs 5+ | 18% | The minimum IVs a new spawn will have will be no lower than 5 (as long as no other IV boosts are active). |
| XP & Shiny x2 | 10% | The XP you gain by fainting wild Pokémon will be doubled AND shiny Pokémon will appear twice as often. |
Important: Events that alter stats like IVs or Size will only take effect for Pokémon that spawn after the event has started. Pokémon that spawned before will not match the expected values.
Global Events
Global Events are hosted by the game developers. These are usually seasonal or for a special occasion, lasting a few weeks or sometimes over a month.
Global Events stack with Fragment Events but are equal to the paid boosts.
Global Events Include:
- The Birthday Event — Late April
- Halloween Event — October to November
- Christmas / Winter Event — December to January
More events may be added in the future.
Global events bring an event map — a location unique to the event type and theme. These maps include Faraway Island and Birthday Island, usually accessed via the Event door in the Training 1 Pokémon Center.
