Bulbasaur

GrassPoison

Great for beginners. Tanky with good sustain and strong against early gyms.

Charmander

Fire

High attack power. Tougher early game but devastating once evolved.

Squirtle

Water

Balanced stats. Great defense and versatile against many types.

There's no wrong choice — all starters are viable for the entire game. Pick whichever you like best!

Combat System

Unlike traditional Pokémon games, Pokémon MMO 3D features a real-time combat system. There are no turns — you control your Pokémon directly and attacks happen in real-time!

⏱️

Cooldown

Each attack has a cooldown timer. Powerful moves take longer to recharge.

Energy

Attacks cost energy. Manage your energy bar or you'll be unable to attack!

📏

Range

Attacks have different ranges. Position your Pokémon strategically!

How Combat Works

  1. Encounter a wild Pokémon — walk into tall grass or specific areas
  2. Choose your attacks — use keys 1-4 to activate your equipped moves
  3. Manage your resources — watch your HP, energy bar, and cooldowns
  4. Position matters — move around to dodge attacks and stay in range
  5. Catch or defeat — weaken wild Pokémon then throw a Poké Ball, or defeat them for XP
Mix quick low-energy attacks with powerful ones. Spamming your strongest move will drain your energy fast!

Type Advantages

Type matchups are just like the main Pokémon games. Fire beats Grass, Water beats Fire, Grass beats Water, etc.

Evolution

Your Pokémon can evolve to become stronger! Evolution in Pokémon MMO 3D works similarly to the main games:

  • Level-up Evolution: Most Pokémon evolve when they reach a specific level. Keep training!
  • Item Evolution: Some Pokémon need special items (like stones) to evolve.
  • Trading Evolution: A few Pokémon only evolve when traded with another player.
After evolving, your Pokémon may learn new, more powerful attacks. Check the Wiki to plan your evolution timing!

Candies

Defeating or catching a specific Pokémon species may drop Candies. These are valuable items that can boost your Pokémon's stats.

Trading & Economy

Pokémon MMO 3D has a player-driven economy. Here's how it works:

Trading with Players

  • Walk up to another player and initiate a trade request
  • Both players can offer Pokémon, items, and in-game currency
  • Both must confirm the trade for it to go through

In-Game Currency

  • PokéDollars (₽) — Earned by defeating wild Pokémon and trainers. Used to buy items in shops.
  • Shop items: Poké Balls (₽100), Great Balls (₽300), and more

Items Worth Collecting
